Most of America got to know Shay "Buckeey" Johnson on the second season of the popular hit show, Flavor of Love 2. Debuting with over 3.9 million viewers in its premiere episode and ending with 7.5 million by the season finale, Flavor of Love 2 became the highest rated show that was not sports related, as well as VH1's highest viewed show in the channel's history. It wasn't reality TV however, that Shay got her first taste of the entertainment industry.
Shay continues to practice these lessons by evolving into an actress, as well as entrepreneur, hosting events throughout the US, appeaing on major radio stations, and occasionally filling in for Radio Jocs. American Idol” producers are determined that the show must go on after Simon Cowell jumps ship, and so they’re on the hunt for someone with a acid tongue to replace him. Their number one pic is apparently Howard Stern, who is known for telling it like it is with the help of expletives and a serious dose of attitude. Howard is also a big “Idol” fan, and he always dissects the show and its contestants on his radio show. Says a source, “It’s one of the few shows that could compete with Stern’s $100 million-a-year Sirius contract, and ‘Idol’ bosses think he’d be even nastier than Simon.”
Howard is staying surprisingly silent on the behind-the-scenes negotiations, saying, “I was approached by a major TV network to take over a TV show and leave here and do that next year — and I did turn it down . . . I’m not even sure if I want to be working. I’m waiting to see what happens.”

Another split has hit Black Hollywood. Shaquille O’Neal’s wife of six years, Shaunie O’Neal, has filed for legal separation. The bombshell comes two years after the NBA start first started divorce proceedings.
Shaq and Shaunie split in September 2007 amid allegations that Shaunie was sleeping with her personal trainer and being secretive about her monetary assets. The couple reunited in August 2008 and vowed to work through their problems. But their efforts have not been successful, according to papers filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Monday.
Shaunie and the couple’s four children have abandoned the family’s Florida home and relocated to California, where she will likely have an easier time securing spousal support, PEOPLE reports. She is also seeking child support as well as legal and physical custody of their children. Shaq and Shaunie would have celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary next month.
Screen Gems has acquired the rights Sheneneh and Wanda, a new comedy for Jamie Foxx and Martin Lawrence. The duo will play female characters they developed during their stand-up comedy days in the 1990s, Variety reports.
The project originated from a parody movie trailer for a film called Skank Robbers, which Foxx and Lawrence made for the 2008 BET Awards. In the skit, the actors cross-dressed to portray two women who make a living robbing banks. The reception was so strong, the duo decided to turn the concept into a real film.
Jamie will write Sheneneh And Wanda and produce alongside Martin. It will be the first time the comic, who have known each other since they started out as stand-up acts, have worked together on a movie.
